(UNDATED) - Daylight Saving Time begins this weekend.
Clocks will move forward one hour at 2:00 a.m. Sunday as most people "spring forward." Many residents set their clocks ahead before going to bed Saturday night.
Safety officials also recommend using the time change as a reminder to check and replace batteries in smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors.
Daylight Saving Time will end later this year when clocks "fall back" on November 1.
