(ANGOLA, IND.) - Crews are repairing a sewer line under Stocker Street in Angola after part of the aging pipe collapsed.
The Herald Republican reports the repair work runs under Stocker Street starting at its intersection with Williams Street and extending about half a block west.
Angola Wastewater Department employees and private contractors, including Parrish Excavating, began work Friday morning.
Crews are replacing the section beginning at the main line under Williams Street and continuing west along Stocker Street.
Repair work is expected to be completed by the end of next week.
