(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indiana officials are urging residents to review tornado safety plans ahead of a statewide tornado drill scheduled for Tuesday.
The Indiana Department of Homeland Security says the drill will take place at 10:15 a.m. and will be broadcast through the Emergency Alert System on television and radio.
Officials encourage families, schools, and workplaces to use the drill as an opportunity to practice tornado safety procedures and review emergency plans.
The exercise is part of Severe Weather Preparedness Week in Indiana, which focuses on helping residents prepare for severe storms and tornadoes.
