300 Hoosier Soldiers Headed to D.C. for Public Safety Mission This December

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Around 300 Indiana National Guard soldiers will deploy to Washington, D.C., in early December to support the D.C. National Guard with public safety operations. Governor Mike Braun approved the deployment, which includes units from Bloomington and Gary. The Indiana Guardsmen will work alongside civilian agencies and local law enforcement to help bolster safety efforts in the nation's capital.
