(STEUBEN COUNTY) - Ice cream season is officially back across Steuben County, with multiple local shops now open and more seasonal favorites returning in the weeks ahead.
Scoops opens Friday, April 17, joining The Social Ice Cream Co., Angola Zesto, Sweet Summers, DJ's Tempting Treats and BBQ, and Capt'n Pete's Dairy Dock, which are already serving cones, shakes and specialty treats.
More frozen favorites are also expected soon at Pokagon State Park through the Courtyard Café inside Potawatomi Inn and the beach station, while The Backyard plans to reopen later in May with ice cream and miniature golf.
