Edon Woman Finishes 10th In Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest

(NEW YORK) - Cherish Brown of Edon, Ohio finished 10th in the women's division of the 2026 Nathan's Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest.

Brown ate 7 ¾ hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes during the annual contest at Nathan's Famous flagship restaurant in Coney Island.

Miki Sudo of Tampa, Florida won the women's competition with 38 ¾ hot dogs and buns. It was her 12th Mustard Yellow Belt.

In the men's contest, Joey Chestnut of Westfield, Indiana reclaimed the Mustard Yellow Belt by eating 66 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes. It was his 18th victory in the competition's history.

The Nathan's Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Championship has been held each July 4 in Coney Island since 1916.
