(CHURUBUSCO) - Down at halftime, the Westview girls basketball team tightened up their defense and went on to beat host Churubusco 52-28 in NECC play. The Lady Warriors had balanced scoring on the night, led by JJ Whetstone with 14 points. Maddie Grossman had 13 points while Janissa Lehman had 12 points and Bre Cory added 11 points. Westview improves to 8-1 overall and 3-0 in the NECC. Churubusco is now 2-7 and 0-2 in the conference.
