ANGOLA, Ind. (WLKI) - The Fort Wayne Artists Guild will display its work at Steuben Arts Scene Gallery in Angola throughout September.
The exhibition features 60 original works by 21 northeast Indiana artists. The show includes landscapes, florals, figure paintings and three-dimensional pieces in media including oil, watercolor, encaustic, pastel, ink, wood and ceramic.
All pieces are available for purchase, with prices ranging from $80 to $1,100.
The exhibit will be open Fridays and Saturdays in September from noon until 5 p.m. at Steuben Arts Scene Gallery, 101 West Maumee Street in Angola. There is no admission charge.
A free opening reception is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Visitors will have an opportunity to meet the artists, view the exhibit and vote for their favorite work.
The artist receiving the most votes will receive the show's People's Choice Award.
The Fort Wayne Artists Guild has been part of the regional arts community since the 1950s. The exhibit was announced by the Herald Republican.
