Lawnscape Garden Center and Nursery’s Laila Fuller joins Andy St. John on WLKI 100.3, with more helpful growing advice on these hot summer days.
Laila wants you to know, “Succulents are very particular with how they're watered. Infrequent watering is best for succulents.
“They can get overwatered extremely easily. So, you need a good well-draining soil that has some moss and some perlite in it to help with your airflow. And what's great about succulents is the petals on them. If you give them a feel, it's a good way to tell whether it's underwatered or overwatered because at the right state, they should have a nice firm feel to them.
“And it's so insanely vibrant at Lawnscape with all the different colors of all our plants. I mean, our nursery is packed full. In my annual house, we have plenty of bedding flowers, hanging baskets, and premade planters.”
