DEKALB COUNTY - The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced a road closure for S.R. 327.

The news released stated on or after Tuesday, April 9 roadcrews will be working between S.R. 4 and U.S. 6.

Work on the project is expected to last until the end of November.

All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.

During the closure, drivers should use the approved detour of S.R. 4, I-69 and U.S. 6, or seek an alternate route.

The INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when travelling in and around all work zones.
