ANGOLA - The Angola Lady Hornets had a great start to the NECC Softball Tournament with a 15-4 win over Fremont Monday night.

Angola pitched no runs until the 5th inning.

The Prairie Heights Lady Panthers defeated Westview 11-5 in first round of the NECC softball tourney.

Ella Coney cracked a home run bringing herself and two other runners to home plate.

The Panthers and the Hornets will face off for round two of the NECC Tournament at Prairie Heights starting at 5:30 p.m.
