Sturgis bowling teams lose to host Coldwater
(COLDWATER) – The Sturgis boys and girls bowling teams lost to host Coldwater in Monday night action. The Sturgis boys lost 27.5 to 2.5. Leading the Trojans were Andrew Matz with a two game series of 388 and Josh Groff with a 371. Coldwater was led by Kahle Weis with a 201 game and Vinnie Beekman with a 200. In the girls match, Sturgis lost 27-3. Khara Kimes had a two game series of 379 for the Lady Trojans while Beth Waugh shot a 226, which is a career high series for her. Coldwater’s Madison Shuler shot a 152 game as did Kylie Cook. The Sturgis boys are now 1-1 overall while the Sturgis girls are 0-2.
