Coldwater Residents Urged To Follow Governor's Orders To Stay Home
Thursday, March 26, 2020

The Coldwater Department of Public safety issued a statement on Wednesday that urged residents to follow the Governor's Executive "Stay Home Stay Safe" Order and limit travel for essentials like grocery shopping only.

Per the department, based on traffic observations, there is still travel for what appears to be non-essential purposes and officials are asking residents to remember the purpose of the Governor’s Executive Order.

The order was issued due to the COVID-19 outbreak which has caused as of Tuesday afternoon at least 24 Michigan residents to die and almost 1,800 others to fall ill. The order remains in effect until April 13th.
