(BRONSON) - The Branch County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a stolen farm truck and identifying the individual or individuals responsible for its theft.

Sheriff Fred Blankenship says Tuesday morning, deputies responded to a report of a stolen vehicle from Lazy Acres Farms, located at 844 Dutch School Road in Bronson. The owner reported last seeing the truck parked in his yard at approximately 12 AM. When he went outside in the morning, he discovered the vehicle was missing.

All the farm workers were contacted and confirmed they did not take the truck, and no one was given permission to use it.

The stolen vehicle is described as a 2014 Ford F-150, gray pickup, bearing Michigan farm plate BD39357. It has “FX4” decals on the bed sides and “Lazy Acres Farms” white decals on both front doors. The truck also has a black fuel tank in the bed and two aluminum diamond-plated toolboxes on each bed side, making it very recognizable. At the time of the theft, DeWalt and Milwaukee tools were inside the vehicle.

Video surveillance shows the truck leaving the property at approximately 3 AM Tuesday.

Blankenship says anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of this vehicle or the person or persons involved is urged to contact the Branch County Sheriff’s Office at 517-278-2325 or Branch County Central Dispatch at 517-278-3091. Tips can also be submitted anonymously.
