(UNDATED) – A one vehicle accident injured a Coldwater man.

According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, 43 year old Justin Pietrzak was driving west on State Road 8 near County Road 41, on the way to Auburn. Pietrzak told deputies that he lost a tire and his vehicle veered off the roadway and into a small creek, then flipped over.

Pietrzak was removed from his vehicle by the Auburn Fire Department. He reported pain and had apparent face abrasions from the airbag deploying.

Pietrzak was taken to an area hospital where he is in stable condition.

Also assisting at the scene were the Auburn Police Department, the Indiana State Police and Parkview EMS.
