Bronson softball falls in title game of Northview Invitational

(GRAND RAPIDS) – The Bronson softball team went 2-1, falling in the championship game of the Northview Invitational. The Lady Vikings beat host G.R. Northview 6-4 and G.R. West Catholic 12-6, then lost to G.R. Unity Christian 4-3 in the title game. Ashlynn Harris picked up the win in game one and took the loss in the title game. On the day she gave up 15 hits and had 15 strikeouts. Madison Shaw got the win over West Catholic, giving up 9 hits and 6 runs with 7 strikeouts. At the plate Roni Bir had a home run and 3 RBI, while Braelyn Gimenez and Harris each had 2 RBI. Bronson is now 11-6 on the season.
