Coldwater softball goes 2-0 at Portage Northern Invitational

(PORTAGE) – The Coldwater softball team had a 2-0 day at the Portage Northern Invitational. The Lady Cardinals beat Coloma 8-2 and Niles Brandywine 9-2. At the plate on the day, Laynie VanAken had 4 hits including two triples. Mya Porter and Rylie VanAken each hit a home run, and Rylie VanAken also had a double and a triple. Coldwater improves to 12-2.
