Cameron Memorial Community Hospital - Race Against The Shake Parkinson's 5K Run/Walk 4/11/24

Cameron Memorial Community Hospital's Eric Clabaugh is with WLKI's Andy St. John to tell us about the upcoming Race Against The Shake Parkinson's 5K Run/1-mile Fun Walk. It will happen on Saturday, April 27.
The Race Against the Shake Parkinson's 5k Run/1-mile Fun Walk will bring awareness, support and funding to people with Parkinson's Disease in Northeast Indiana. The race/walk will begin at the Angola Middle School track, rain or shine. All participants will receive a finisher's medal.
All proceeds will stay here with the Cameron Foundation to use for people with Parkinson’s and their care partners in our community.

Also, hear Eric tell you about The Cameron Education and Innovation Center construction progress, and the new Linear Accelerator (LINAC) that will be help patients at Cameron's Regional Cancer Care Center of Angola. LINAC is a machine that aims radiation at cancer tumors with pinpoint accuracy, sparing nearby healthy tissue.
