(WILLIAMS COUNTY) – A crash Tuesday morning claimed the life of a teenager and injured another.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, officers were called to a crash at 5:30 AM on County Road 13 south of County Road 1 in Williams County. The investigation determined that 16 year old Jennavieve Ebersole was heading south on County Road 13, when she lost control and went off the road, and her car flipped over multiple times.

The crash caused Ebersole to be partially ejected from the vehicle, while her passenger, 16 year old Kurstin Hadley, was completely ejected.

Ebersole was pronounced dead at the scene. Hadley sustained serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital. Neither Ebersole or Hadley were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash, which remains under investigation
